Launched in 2020 under the name Sprout Therapy, Elemy is an online pediatric behavioural health startup vaulted to unicorn status after the latest funding round.

The startup has raised $219 million at a $1.15 billion valuation in a round led by SoftBank’s Vision Fund 2 and co-led by Goodwater Capital and Premji Invest, with additional investments from Amity Ventures, Avidity Partners, Chelsea Clinton’s Metrodora Ventures, Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary’s Sound Ventures, and Whale Rock Capital.

The startup provides in-home and online care services for children with autism and other behavioral health conditions by pairing best-in-class clinicians with better technology.

Parents navigate the autism diagnosis process and get in-home behavioral therapy for their child. Clients can request in-home assessments and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy and get matched with a clinician in the area.

Children receive care from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). BCBAs provide the initial assessment and develop a personalized health plan for a child.
