The World Startup Fest has been announced at WMF – We Make Future international event to be held on June 15, 16, 17, 2023.

An entire pavilion at the Rimini Fair will host delegations of startups from all over the world. These delegations will present themselves to the many investors, investment funds and VCs coming to Rimini from all continents just for the event.
Among the scheduled activities, in addition to B2B meetings, business matching, dedicated internships and the scale up for the future panel, the WMF Startup Competition, one of the largest globally, is not to be missed; for its 11th edition it will bring to the Mainstage the most innovative projects from around the world for a confrontation on the 12 challenges of the future and a prize pool that, in past editions, has reached more than 3.3 million euros.
High expectations, also, for the upcoming events reserved for matching investors with startups.

Thanks to the WMF’s International Roadshow – the WMF’s global digital cooperation project – the World Startup Fest will see the participation, during the three-day festival, of various international innovative networks and ecosystems: an unmissable opportunity to expand the network of contacts and forge meaningful collaborations with a global scope.

Artificial intelligence, climate change, sustainable development and robotics applied to everyday life will also be some of the topics discussed on the Startup Stage, the stage where 120 innovative startups also selected from the Italian and International Roadshow competitions will take turns to present their projects and business ideas in front of investors, companies, incubators and professionals, who will award numerous prizes and incubation paths.

Additionally, there will be the Scaleup For Future panel, which will present innovative projects that have been successful in rapidly scaling the relevant markets, as well as the Startup Showcase, which puts forward new innovative projects, as well as the Stage Entrepreneurship and Stage Export: devoted to companies in the tech and innovation world, with inspiring speeches, case studies, and useful tips for those who want to start their own entrepreneurial project and to show and discuss internationalization scenarios for startups.

Also returning to enrich the Rimini Fair is the Startup District, the exhibition area that hosts Italian and international startups along with the most advanced technological prototypes: already more than 250 startups from countries including France, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Croatia, Greece, and Egypt have presented their projects in the District, coming into contact with companies, investors and participants of the WMF.
