Drozdowicz will focus on driving growth for health systems and plans while continuing to scale the PointClickCare A&P network
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario–(BUSINESS WIRE)–PointClickCare Technologies, a leading healthcare technology platform enabling meaningful collaboration and access to real‐time insights at every stage of the patient healthcare journey, today announced the appointment of Brian Drozdowicz as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Acute & Payer Markets.
In his role, Brian will serve as an important member of the senior leadership team, responsible for the development and continued success of Health System, Health Plan and Convener markets, and for driving value in PointClickCare’s connected care network.
“Brian is a well-respected leader who is wholeheartedly committed to our mission and purpose,” said Dave Wessinger, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder at PointClickCare. “His alignment to our values and his track record of successfully growing, scaling and transforming businesses makes him a perfect fit to lead our acute and payer efforts. We are excited to welcome him into this critical leadership position for the company.”
Drozdowicz joins the company from Bayer Pharmaceuticals where he most recently served as Head of Integrated Care. In this role, he built and led a world-class team of professionals that developed and grew a portfolio of digital health companies, and drove successful expansion into new markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University.
“I am thrilled to join the PointClickCare team and work alongside a group that is as equally passionate as I am about improving how healthcare is delivered through innovative technology,” added Drozdowicz. “I am inspired by PointClickCare’s mission and look forward to applying my combined experience in technology and healthcare to arm providers with critical, actionable insights that will ultimately lead to better patient care.”
The addition of Drozdowicz to PointClickCare’s leadership team continues the company’s track record of attracting top talent and making strategic investments to innovate the continuum of care. Through its three acquisitions in as many years – Collective Medical (2020), Audacious Inquiry (2022) and Patient Pattern (2023) – PointClickCare represents the largest network of its kind in North America, connecting more than 27,000 long‐term and post‐acute care providers, over 2,800 hospitals and 2,000 ambulatory clinics, every major U.S. health plan across the U.S, and over 75 state and government agencies.
Most recently, PointClickCare announced it expanded its network throughout the state of Georgia through a collaboration with the Georgia Hospital Association’s (GHA) GA Notify Program. PointClickCare completed its network expansion, expanding one of the largest real-time coordination nationwide networks in North America.
“Our investment in Collective Medical accelerated expansion of the A&P business, and it will continue to be a critical growth strategy for the company with Brian at the helm,” continued Wessinger. “There is tremendous opportunity in front of us as the most expansive care collaboration network in North America and we are excited to continue our forward momentum through this addition to our leadership team.”
